Don is the Vice President of Belair Engineering and Service Company. He served in the USAF and has been self-employed for the past 22 years. Don handles all the marketing and a myriad of other duties with Belair Engineering. He lives in Crofton, MD with his wife of 13 years, Debbie, and their 12 year old daughter, Lauren. Don is currently a professional boxing judge for the Maryland State Athletic Commission. His hobbies include boxing, reading, computers, travel, philosophy and enjoying life to the fullest. He was the founding President and Charter Member of the Chamber in 1989 and has served on the Board of Directors numerous occasions since then. He has been Legal Counsel to the Chamber since its inception and was the Chamber’s Business Leader of the Year in 1994. He has been active and involved in civic and community affairs in Crofton for 35 years. He currently serves on the Crofton Growth Commission and is also the Treasurer of the Crofton Rotary Club. John is an active member of the Crofton Community, having served on the Crofton Civic Association as a Board Member and then as Treasurer. He is a current board member and Distinguished Past President of the Kiwanis Club of Crofton and was a Scoutmaster and Committee Chairman of Boy Scout Troop 758. John was selected by Janet Owens, the Anne Arundel County Executive to serve on the Planning Advisory Board.
